My world does only exist in my perspective
Self awareness and self knowledge is a difficult journey we join in our lives. Who we are, what we think, what we feel and how we act is something we discover during our live. I was born in a certain family with the family believes and the family history. My experiences during my life has affected my view on the world. So I created my own truth which is different from your truth. The more I am able to define my truth as my truth in stead of the truth the more I am able to understand and respect others. Without this insight it is impossible to take my responsibility for my own life.
Your world does only exist in your perspective
When I understand that you perceive the world through your eyes, based on your history, your knowledge, your believe systems and your values which make sense to you gives me the freedom to validate you as a person. Understanding our differences and our similarities without judgement gives us the opportunity to be honest towards myself and to you. It helps me to set my boundaries without devaluating you.
The challenge: What if I am self aware and you are not….. what can I do to realize mutual understanding?
Our world is a combination of history, visions, judgements, agreements, and laws
If we work together or if to live together we have to deal with two or more different people. Each one with their own view on the world. To make that work it is needed that we align our agreements. But also we need to be aware that we live today. (Not yesterday and not tomorrow, just today)
Our environment was built in the past and we have a certain infrastructure, we have our political structure we have agreements on visions and judgements.
